I honestly was a second away from completely deleting this entire live journal account. I have been thinking about it for, at least, the last month. I decided to take a trip back to memory lane, circa the summer of 2003, and decided those posts should be saved in some way. I can not believe how drastically my life has changed in the last 4+ ( Read more... )

Yea, it's ok to bring someone. Just write her name on the response card so I can put it on the place setting cards at the wedding.

Is it a house or a condo and where is it? That's awesome.

I hope all your wedding stuff works out. It is a pain- we eloped...planned elopement if there is such a thing. It worked out great.

It's a townhouse in East Windsor...about 10 minutes away from Princeton. I love it. Commuting isn't the most fun morning activity, but it could be worse. It takes me about 35 minutes (speeding) to get to work in the am. We just couldn't afford anything decent up where we used to be. By going a little further south we got a place that was about 2-3 times the size of other really shitty places up north that were more expensive.

I'm jealous you guys got to elope. I think Aaron was against it because he was afraid his mom would probably kill herself or have a meltdown. It's true what people say...weddings aren't for the couple at all...just the parents. Damn them. Hehe.

they are for the parents, and we were so lucky that our parents were cool with it. I hope your day turns out good just the same =)

We ran into the same troubles with buying up here. We could have had it much nicer west or south, but somehow we managed. I'm sure your place is like a mansion!!

Yea, I am sure everything will turn out ok with the wedding...but I definitely want it to come and go as quickly as possible!

Nah...our place isn't that big. It's 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. It's an end unit so we pretty much have the huge side and back yard to ourselves. No one ever hangs out there except us. Comparing it to other places in Union and Monmouth counties, makes it seem huge. I swear, we looked at places that were closets with a bathroom. One house had a bedroom that we were 100% sure that couldn't even fit our queen size bed into. It was terrible. We didn't have too much money to spend, and got more value just by driving down 40 minutes. If we were on a bigger budget we probably would have stayed a little closer to where we work, but with the wedding coming and doctor's bills from my bad stomach I wanted to be careful with what we were spending. Gas $ is a killer, but it's worth it for now.
