Weekly Question #23 done late by your most recent mod!

Ah, really, I'm so sorry. Hopefully I thought up a good question to make up for my lateness! And again I apologize. Here goes:

What is your opinion on the way Arashi and their style has progressed/changed over these ten, starting on eleven, years?
(ex. Their voices, style of singing, clothing, hair, showing of their personalities etc)

So firstly, I've been thinking this ever since I became a fan, cause admit it, they are a lot different than when they first started out, right? I mean, they're still Arashi (and always will be), but they're voices and faces and the way they go about things have matured. From their style of baggy clothes to skinny jeans and mufflers and layers (even if it's just the stylist) and from shows such as Mayonaka no Arashi to Arashi no Shukudai-kun and Himitsu no Arashi-chan. From the gawky kids in their mid and late teens, from being just 'co-workers' to 'more than just band-mates, friends, or family', don't you think they've really progressed?
Aha and that's just my summary paragraph, I'll start from their appearances and showing of personalities. Well, yah, from those horrible baggy T's that were in style to this. Their hair and the expressions they show. They've become more free with allowing more of themselves to show on screen. They match a lot of the time, yeah, but it seems as though it's really their own style (despite the stylist dressing them lmao). And that coincides with their expressions; for example, remember Aiba? He was so quiet to begin with, and now he's the loudmouth of the party. Sho was all composed, never 'slipping up', Jun the 'cool' one who it was a miracle when he was dorky. Ohno was quiet and self-reserved (and you might say he still is, but I think he's become more open. Go watch some Challenge Week clips), and Nino, well Nino hasn't changed much aha, he's just become louder and snarkier. Over-all, on this section, I think they've been able to more freely express themselves in the way they are able to and want to, that progression makes me happy.
Next, their music. It's steadily changed over the years to fit the times. There's some rock, some jazzy stuff, ballads and so much more. Like take Super Fresh and go back to Horizon and you can hear the clear difference in the changes, of their voices and the style. The style fits their voices, but I think that as they've grown older, singularly and as a group, they've been able to fit their voices to the songs. They are becoming more skilled with hitting the right notes and picking up their own style of voice, which way of singing fits themselves best. I personally think it's admirable.
I think the result of their TV shows changing over the years is a direct result of their maturity. Because, of course, they're getting older and more 'adult-like' (lol who'm I talking about here?) which means they can do things to show this freely.
Finally, as a group, their bond is what amazes me the most. In the beginning it seemed forced, even staged. Ohno even said that at first he thought of them as co-workers, but now they are more than friends or family. It made me tear up. The 5 of them are so close that they've said that they've never had a fight, and I choose to believe them because there is no denying proof of it. It's amazing how they can go from people who just sing together to a true, tightly-bonded group that harmonizes and can fit themselves together so well. It awes me and is what attracts me most to Arashi as a group.
All in all, my opinion is that they've truly matured. Although they still do silly things such as Odoroki no Arashi and just their silly little interactions, they've become freer, more knowledgeable, and more lively, glowing, and bright versions of the beginning Arashi and I love them for who they are now and who they will always be; themselves.

Remember! It's more fun if you write your own response without looking at mine first, but don't be afraid to use it as help! One-line responses are NG X! Don't do them! I know this question requires and can get more than 'I like the way they've changed...' (I mean, mine's pretty long, and I could even add more if I had the time!). So, do your best!
I look forward to reading your answers!

Again, Thank you!
