There is a doctor, formerly of Torchwood Three, in the common room. He's been out of sight for awhile, it's true. It's just a coincidence that his reappearance coincides with the fading of a nasty-looking bruise on his face.

He's making notes in a notebook and drinking coffee, but he's certainly available to be talked to. He just may or may not be polite about it.
