Sydney is very intelligent, and a natural problem solver. It didn't take her long, considering, to figure out what the Rift did to her, and she's less than pleased with it. She does see the irony - all this time wishing she could stop lying to her friends, and now she physically can't - but she's not quite in a mood to appreciate it. Everyone should be able to have secrets, even just small ones. Apparently that's a luxury she's not allowed here.
She slips out of the Kashtta in the morning, while it's still a little chilly outside. The sun's up, but not visible, hidden behind gray-white clouds, which is just as well. It fits her mood. So there's a (former) SD-6 agent running in the park, in sweatpants and a loose T-shirt.
It's not helping to clear her mind as much as she'd hoped it would.
