Dashing through the snow! (Party-Thread)!
((OOC: A party thread! When was the last one? I don't remember! Basically, anyone can respond to anyone in this post! So join in! There'll be another snowball fight for the Gauche area soon!))
It's snowing in Chicago! who knows if it's enough for a snowball fight, but dammit we'll pretend.
JD had come back to the Conrad to tell Ariel where he's been and why he won't be around. Not that that was an easy conversation to have. It was hard to explain why he had to go to the Prophet and that he was safe there, as safe as anyone can be in Chicago. Still he's needed and he belongs somewhere so he's in a very good mood when he leaves the Conrad and heads into the park.
Martha Jones had come back to visit the hotel to check on everything there. It's nice to stretch her legs, again, and keep up her reputation of being too busy. Get out. See places and people. Do things. Be useful. She has to track the Doctor down at some point, too. She's worried about him. The last time she saw him... well. It's been a while, anyway, and even if he's back to poking dangerous things, she's not altogether sure he's alright.
She's about several feet away from JD, but she hasn't looked back to see him. Doesn't even notice him when he yells, Hey, Martha! She's just too into her worrying so JD does the only logical thing, packing a handful of snow into a ball, and lobbing it at her. Only to get her attention. Really. Martha squeaks and turns, looking like she's going to kill whoever through the snowball at her, because now she's wet and cold, but then JD makes those bloody puppy eyes and he's really too adorable to resist... throwing a snowball back at.
This quickly dissolves into two grown adults having a snowball fight in the middle of a Chicago park. Feel free to join them or scoff at adults playing in the snow. Just beware of getting hit by a sidelined snowball and beware of JD's puppy dog eyes, they could get nearly anyone to join in!
Wolverine has kind of appeared in the middle of it wearing nothing, but pants. He is not happy. Months of being stuck in the future only to return to this place in the middle of a snowball fight. They have not noticed him or his unhappiness. He's stealthy like that, but hasn't exactly found it in him to move.
After all, evil creatures still lurk in the park and he's rather not see either of them killed, because they wanted their moment of happiness and fun here. Or something. He's really actually thoughtful sometimes.
