She looks back and she looks away, she internalizes the motion wave [locked]
Babel, after a brief interlude at her new home, is back in Chicago proper courtesy of the lovely public transit system. She's wandered about, visited the park, talked to a few bums, and decided to stop into the coffee shop before making her way over to the Conrad to see who she can find there. Yes, that coffee shop.
She may or may not be in it because it explodes. But more likely, she saw the sign for peppermint mocha and made a very decisive hopskip into it.
She's sprawled on one of the couches in the more loungey areas of the shop, marveling at the tiny number of people in it (even if it does have a penchant for exploding, people need coffee, right?) and sipping one of the aforementioned mochas. Good day so far.
