Most of the people living at the Kashtta are probably delighted with the kittens that teleported their way into the lobby. Most, if not all, found themselves owners of a kitten-shaped pet whether they wanted one or not. Jo Harvelle fits into none of these camps. In fact, Jo can't see a kitten without needing to fight off the urge to shift into a dog. Imagine her disdain when she comes across not one, but five of these kittens in one of the Kashtta hallways. The unfairness and indignity of it all.
To make a long story short, Jo soon after became Dog!Jo and chased after the kittens for a long, long time. It led them to Grant Park where she is now grumpily searching for a place to sit, the kittens having teleported their way back. Aren't they lucky.
Dog!Jo chooses to flop on the bench nearby in an artless fashion. If these kittens aren't going anywhere and Jo can't start fighting off the urge to shift, she's going to have to move someplace else. FML.
Phoebe Donovan has decided she wants peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. It may be that time of the month, it may be she decides no reason is necessary--but she wants them.
And no store in the whole city will have the sort of cookies only she can make. This is why she is dancing around in the Kashtta Tower's kitchen, circling the counter while simultaneously singing off-key. Her iPod is tucked into one of her pockets, earbuds in place as she waits for the cookies to bake.
