[OOC: Backdated to before the OT3 Club's party, but after
this thread, obviously. *innocent whistle*]
To be frank, Desmond Descant hasn't been in the best of moods since the incident with Calisto and while that has long since vanished into legend, the scars still remained for a lot of people he deeply cared about. For awhile there, he was beginning to think those scars would never be healed.
And then a miracle happened. He can't honestly say what it was, and he doesn't care, because it happened. Martha, who he was beginning to fear was lost forever in a tidal wave of bad memories and things he couldn't even fathom, came back to him and the Doctor, and the aftereffects of that joyful reunion (and what transpired afterwards) have left him insanely giddy.
And what does an insanely giddy four thousand-year-old man who is predisposed to acting like a sixteen-year-old girl on certain occasions do? He tracks down his best friend.
He's standing outside Mathias's room, having just knocked on the door, waiting for him to open up, which if he doesn't in the next five seconds, Des fully intends to barrage him with a medley of songs that will probably make his ears bleed, which would be pointless if Mathias, in fact, isn't in his room.
...Des is in a good mood. That doesn't mean he has to think clearly.
