Never wrestle a pig. You both get dirty and the pig enjoys it.

It's a real place, I'm guessing the director probably attended there and it's like a homage.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Miskatonic University is a fictional university located in the equally fictional Arkham, Massachusetts. It first appeared in the stories of H. P. Lovecraft and is the setting for numerous Cthulhu Mythos stories written since his death. It also appears in role-playing games based on the mythos."

*giggle* Sorry, I preferred your theory, but thought Miskatonic sounded like too cool a name for a real university - maybe we can all get ourselves fake degrees from there printed up (ooh, my grammar all Yoda-ish has gone...). : )

Yeah that shit is not good. My mum had her wrists cut open and her tendons fiddled about with and she was awake during the whole thing, not pleasant! The amount of time I now spend on the computer at work I am starting to think about this myself, as my 'desk' isn't even a proper desk just a cupboard with a pull out shelf which the keyboard is on and the chair is just a high stool. Rubbish!

Although if you did get RSI or some kind of injury/back problems associated with it your work would be responsible for it and I guess giving you moneh! You should harrass them for proper desk/swivel chair and then you can start to make your own little office, eventually taking control of the directors and gaining your own minions to slowly take over the world!

Dammit. I've gone into WDM* again.

WDM is never something to apolygise about! If you don't aim for da sky, ya don't get no pie! Bring it on!!!

Yeah, it is tricky though, as I wokr upstairs which bearing in mind this a shop, means there is nowhere else for me to work and still do the 'sale assisstant' thing as well as the computer based jobs I do. Oh well. That said though, Rog informed me that if you work on computers all the time, the company is meant to pay for an eye test for you? I don't know if this is true or not though???

LOL!!! I like it! I want pie!

Yes, if you work on a PC you're entitled to a free test! We get them at work too. I think you get one a year? or a certain amount at the very least. We used to get vouchers, now we pay - bring in receipt and work gives me cash back :)

Those Masters of Horror sound good :)

Glad to hear your appraisal went well & that you've now got better seating!! The downsides of using computers all day ain't good.

Hey Kitty :) It's true. Those damned pigs. Perhaps we could fix one with a saddle - give you a little cowboy hat and you could do your own little rodeo - better than wrestling unless you have a little wrestling mask/spandex suit :)

The joy...i have recently managed to get my sister & her normal boyfriend to watch Heavy Metal, Howls Moving Castle & Spirited Away... & they loved em because they were so different from 'normal films'!!
