This is exciting news.

Ideas. I have them. Thank you.

Edit: Your example chargen of Usagi sort of makes the stats section of the wiki unclear.

It's mentioned you could 'in theory' buy Signature Attack to have a special regardless of form for five points, but on the abilities list it's shown to cost ten points. What'm I missing here, because the implication is if you use Master Trait points ability costs are halved.

Then again I feel like i'm missing something here or somebody did a lot of copypasta without checking up on old notes.

Congratulations, you caught a typo! Signature Attacks (edit for clarity: the Signature Attack ability, which can only be bought as a Master Trait) cost(s) 10 points, not 5. Usagi's chargen example on the wiki has been updated accordingly.

I have three questions, all code-related, after browsing the wiki! Doom suggested I put them here, so here they go.

1) +analyze. What does it do? The Analysis ability says ' Allows the +analyze command, which is functionally an attack.', so I assume it takes a turn, but it does not tell you what it actually does.

2) Banish attacks don't do damage to people who don't have Power of Darkness. Do they apply their other, non-damage effects to them? Since in some cases it may not be clear if someone is a PoD or not (especially if you don't know the theme they came from) I was curious how bad it was to misjudge that.

3) Interrupt says 'Greatly improves the Counter reaction’s ability to mitigate damage, but all offensive capabilities of the attack are removed.' Does this mean it can't be used as a normal attack at all? Or does it only remove its offensive capabilities when used as a counter?

1) +analyze analyzes a target's capabilities; it gives a rough sense of their stat ranges, fatigue/mana/morale/rank values, reaction penalties, status effects, whether or not they have a finisher available, and whether or not they're a power of darkness. It's quite handy, though giving up an attack is a huge drawback under a system designed to be about six rounds long ( ... )
