I have to say it's been a pretty good week thus far. The weekend was nice and relaxing. Lauren and I went to an open house on Saturday just to check out a 3 bedroom ranch we've been seeing online. We're not ready to really start shopping yet, but it was nice to see one of the places in person. In the afternoon we did a whole slew of cleaning

I watched a little bit of the news before going to work yesterday morning, and they were showing video of reaction from other countries about Obama winning. People were cheering and smiling and dancing in the streets. Wouldn't it be nice if this could be the beginning of a time when the world doesn't hate the US?

Also, I'm jealous that you got to go to the Avs game, even if they did lose (to Chicago? Seriously?). I haven't gotten to see any games live yet this season, and I'm still waiting for them to show up for their yearly visit at the hospital where I work so that I can stalk them like the true dork that I am.
