Last night my coworker (boss) and I ate at a Longhorn steakhouse here in Lawrenceville, GA, lacking any better non-chain options. Our waitress was named Charlotte, had a great southern drawl, and immediately asked us if we'd like some sweet tea or a coke. Am I the only one who finds life funny when stereotypes reveal themselves?

Maybe I'll give this LJ thing another shot. I've been absent for quite some time, I haven't even been reading it as often as I used to. I have to say that life is treating me pretty well these days. I've never been more in love with Lauren than I am right now. Celebrating three years of being together was a big milestone, and we had an amazing time of it. I decided this week that I finally wanted to do something about my expanding waistline. Playing hockey once a week just isn't enough excercise to keep up anymore.
