hey kate, i really like reading your journal. but i'm always scared to comment, people you know a lot better seem to have a lot to say.

Umm... "Jesus Saved?" I don't know. God and I are never going to see eye to eye. But I guess(I was talking about) what makes the brimstone and damnation scare tactic work. If people are solitary enough or an outside source is persuasive enough, we can all come to believe that we are alone and lost.
(Man this is long.) but we all want to be saved and look to others and things to do it, like in the eternal sunshine quote

i don't believe in heaven or hell and i don't belive we are all alone and lost. just perhaps...uncertain about a lot of things, which can be a good thing. it chanllenges us not to jump into beliefs too hastily and rule out all else.

i enjoy reading your journal too.
