This has been a great weekend for my son and myself. Pimm and I bought "The Boy" a model rocket, and "The Boy" and I chose this weekend to assemble and launch it. We assembled it yesterday. The project took about an hour ( Read more... )

Hey, thanks again for helping out with my dust filled renovation project.

I think that is very cool about the rocket, "The Boy" seems to be making great strides lately, both in cognition and in his verbal skills.

And now he thinks Hitler was a super villain...

That's awesome - I was a model rocket enthusiast up until the fifth grade or so - no rocket eating trees, but an immense rocket eating cornfield in the middle of rural upstate New York.

Fun stuff!

Wow!! A flashback to my old model rocket days. My dad always made ME climb the trees to get the rocket!! I think I'll bring up this subject to my son. I'll have to check if San Bernardino is cool with shooting off rockets, considering the recent wild fires. If not, you just might see me and Ian in your area.
