He constantly sulked while she threw around cheerful quips. She needed someone as carefree and fun like him, not a guy who probably heard Creep playing as a part of his personal soundtrack.

This line made me giggle because it pretty much sums both Piz and Logan in two sentences. Fantastic Piz-fic.

It's more of my trying to understand Piz fic because honestly? I have no idea why he was on the show. I know CL is cute and I like him a lot, but I felt that Piz was so much of a wasted screen time (especially in the last episodes).

Thank you. I think that Piz needed a backstory on the show because "I worked in a nursing home/I worked in the summer (to buy my guitar)/I like music/I like radio" just didn't cut it for me. I felt that he was too two-dimensional, and my thoughts haven't changed, so I created a back story for him.

You know, I'm not so much of a Piz fan, like I don't get him, and I'm not, in any way possibile - intrested in a totally flat character like him.
But this fic was good. I confess I was a little afraid of how far this was going, but I'm pretty satisfied with the ending.
I'd just like to suggest Piz to go back to Beaverton and leave us alone.
How could he even thought that Veronica could have stayied in Neptune for the summer? With him, of all people? LOL

Of course people wanted V to stay with him because haven't you heard? CL was soo cute in the GA spinoff, he had like the greatest abs OHMYGOD! Or so they say.

Seriously though I have no idea why people liked Piz since, like you said he is such a one note character. He like belonged on another show or something.

Thank you for liking the fic. It was a really big challenge for me, writing about a character I don't particulary like or understand.

Greatest abs? LOL Really?
Ok, now that's creepy, because the only thing I saw on thos GA promo pics was CL complete goofiness and his inesistent capability to to keep his back straight.
Now, if they really wanted some nice abs i'd suggest some jason Dohring sightings. But what can you do..some people love to stay blind.

This is to say that I don't like CL as an actor as much as I don't like Piz as a character.

Yes, the greatest abs. He was shown walking slow-mo and they had a close up of his chest a couple of times but thats that. Frankly I didn't see anything spectacular there. And I really hated his hair, it made him look goofy IMO. I do like CL though (I watched him in other places before and he seems like such a cool guy in RL), I think that if given the right material, he can make something of the characters he plays. I just don't like Piz (because why should I really?). Yes, JD rocks :)

think it's important to distinguish the actor and the character IMO.

Certainly. I know absolutely nothing about CL as a person and I have no problem with him. He is a better actor than Teddy Dunn was. And while I don't find him attractive myself, I know many do. No, my problem is with the character alone.

It's just lazy writing and not good enough from a show that gave us such complex characters.

Incredibly lazy. Considering they had him for the entire year and used him in many episodes prior to the last 5, it's mind-boggling to me how little they bothered with his character. Do we even know what he studies? Are his parents around? What are his real fears? Does he struggle with anything (except, you know, dancing moves and getting Veronica's attention)? Is there anything, in fact, that tells us he is a human being and not a cardboard template with "Short-Term Love Interest" printed on his forehead?

I think that he liked what he saw of her exterior and fanwanked her

I really liked this. I've always been a Piz fan, but this was a great story. The music touch was really nice, it does explain his floatiness. I also love the Veronica he perceived. Its like she created this version of herself and he bought it. He actually believed she was cheerful and sunshine. At least it explains his actions better. Great job!

Well Veronica behaves differently when she's around Wallace since he is her "happy" person. She jokes a lot more. I think that's why Piz thought of her as always cheerful. Also, when Veronica quips its more about trying to get her point across in sarcasm. I think Piz took this the wrong way and thought she was cheerful. Although, she did act very cutesy with him in the last five episodes, *I* don't know what that's about since I've only seen her cutesy with Duncan or when she was faking it for a case. She usually fakes the cheeriness so to speak (and it comes over the top IMO. I don't know if it's because of the acting choice or because of the script). Of course Piz can't know that :)
