Since I can't go to the party, I donated $10. I hope they manage to save their beloved boat. Sounds like an awesome, accepting place to me!

How could I resist?! I know what it's like to be an outsider and not have anywhere to go. They totally presented a smart, culturally relvant argument that reallyreally applies to the needs of a certain segment of our world that doesn't ever get treated fairly.

And so I had to. It's absolutely for a good cause. Also- when I saw THIS only moments after I read your post, it made me realize exactly how much the SS GAY mattered to this world. When compared to something else that is crusading for the same exact cause ("save our boat!") I honestly believe that the SS GAY has a MUCH better reason, cause and belief system that is worthy of being saved. I just hope they can raise the bread to get her done. I retooled my PayPal so that I can try to save up a little more to donate to them too in the future.
