Is life just a series of coincidences or happenings of chance? Or is there a reason for some of it? Like, is there some reason for the way things work themselves out

i'm no believer in destiny, so i'd have to say that there's no eternal reason for things to work the way they do. but i also would pin it on coincidence. i think it's mroe a cause and effect thing. things work the way they do because thing before them worked the way they did, and so on and so forth. i also think that people subconciously manipulate their circumstances because they expect them to turn out one way or another. this might mean that they manipualte them to turn out a different way, the same way, for good, or for bad. but again, i think that theres an unconcious aspect to this, even if there is also a conscious one at the same time.

all in all, cause and effect is law in my opinion.
