i despise grading. absolutely hate it.

I did end up ordering a suit from abroad. For the price point, it is pretty neat that I could choose a fabric and all of the details. (For the record: a sandy-colored linen/cotten blend, one button, patch pockets, and buttons on the inside of the pants for braces. Dear me,
Dissertations are big and nebulous and scary. So stay focused on the individual pieces. Eventually, you can put all those pieces together and make a dissertation and then get a job.

P.S. depression is a waste of time, so get over yourself.

The silver lining, I suppose, is that problems are being solved, one at a time, albeit expensively.

The answer is Banana Republic. If you want cheap suits that are 95% natural fibres, then Banana Republic is apparently the way to go. It fit me pretty well straight off the rack.
