Kali, in my experience, has quite the sense of humor. I believe she would find a total loss limbs no hinderance to her karma enforcing, ass-kicking and ego crushing ways.

If I remeber correctly Ganesha enjoys milk, so just let the fur people have a bit and as long as they share I'm sure all will be well :)
