Bobby McFerrin is a phenomenal performer; probably one of the most talented jazz vocalists you'll find. It's really unfortunate that he's most well-known for two of his rather fluffier works ("Don't Worry..." and his take on "The Cosby Show" theme). While I love his studio recordings (few people can harmonize with themselves so well; usually it sounds weird), he really shines live, when he's working without the benefit of overdubbing. And I agree with kyra; his version of "Blackbird" is nothing short of stellar. Ain't too many people can cover a Beatles tune and not make me roll my eyes and wish I was hearing the original!
