Therapy dogs in Bellingham

Does anyone do therapy dog work locally? I'm interested but unsure how to proceed. There are several national therapy dog organizations, but I'm not sure if a given facility (hospital, nursing home, etc) would work with any of the organizations, or if each facility would have a preferred organization.

There's Summit Assistance Dogs, though I think they might be in Anacortes.

There is Brigadoon Assistance Dogs, which may also do some therapy work...
