Starship Troopers was on TV yesterday.

Though, given how Taiwanese television removes scenes involving decapitation, dismemberment, and other violent scenes, it was a remarkably short movie.

Puritanical societies still suck.

Good Will Hunting was on TV today. Though it was a bit of a censored version. See, the movie Good Will Hunting involves profanity, mild sexuality, violence in the form of fistfights and wrestling, and some dirty jokes. My English-to-Chinese translation teacher just posted a message on our class weblog, saying, "I was just correcting this week's translation assignment, and I am now furious at how your collective skills have deteriorated over the spring break. We will now increase our training regimen tenfold."
