a year ago, i joined hitRECord in a grand gesture 'to expand my horizons', etc. It was really an act of weakness-- I couldn't take on paying work anymore because I started dropping things, getting cramps & spasms from doing everyday things, I'd get tremors that'd sometimes last for days. I felt broken, unreliable & false when people wanted to talk ( Read more... )

Congrats in so many levels:) I had no idea you were struggling with this or that you had joined that group. I think it's fantastic and hurray for being published! Now then, where does one purchase a copy of this Tiny Book?

Yay for Imaginary Friends! I'm so excited that they chose it!

And it's great that you get that little commemorative card to put up on the peg board.

Totally want to get that thing framed, but it's such a weird size! Still determined though, I'd get it laminated if I didn't think my gimp hands would cock it up.

I will poke around Blick sometime this weekend, see what nifty artsy frames they have on clearance, might even be therapeutic.

It is, more than a little bit!

And I hadn't opted it, other users on the site selected my illustration to include in "The Tiny Book" while I was off-line & getting injections/doing Physical Therapy, etc. I didn't know about it till this weekend when I got a royalties check & this nifty note.

^^; Still don't even know which illustration they use but I'm so eager to see it. I had to ask my Mom to buy me a copy just so I could see it.

Book thing is awesome! :D Congrats!

And good luck with the fibromyalgia. My mother and little brother both have it (as do two friends), and it's a frustrating thing to live with. But having a name for it helps, at least a bit. It gets easier, they say. :/
