i am ok. thank you again. reassurance is key, unfortunately. hah. i should have used a tape recorder so i can replay those 100% percent sure words when i need to hear them. but i guess now its all about something else. something ive been saying but havent been using. all right, take 678! or maybe we're up to number 914, i dont know. way too many ( Read more... )

There are times when the compliments get redundant.

I don't expect anyone from the "old" youth group to fail; I expect Sara will find a cure for cancer, Eric will be a trillionaire, Emily will amaze everyone (but me, because I see through her act) with her intellect, etc.

And whatever you end up being, and whoever you end up with, wherever you end up... you'll outshine them all. Will it happen like you think? Probably not, because things rarely do. I don't know what tape you're referring to (most folks' internal "tape" is full of self-loathing and doubt), but I do know this: "love. live. learn. laugh. those are good things to do." You should know - you're an expert.
