My beloved Macbook was sent away for service on Tuesday (display backlight flickering) and was delivered back into my hands this afternoon. Though they charged me for the service, Apple seems to have done a bang-up job in repairing the device. They replaced a number of components, not all of which were relevant to the display problem.
