I got the thing because I couldn't keep up with all the cat fur. It ended up sucking up a lot of dust I had no idea was on the floor, too.

Yesterday was my last day at Autodesk. The past few weeks required an immense effort to get myself motivated to work, and I started getting up later and later and taking ever longer showers. Today I'm up at 7:30 already.

Now to see where life takes me...

My alarm was set for 6:30 to head out the door early and head out to pick up Aurélie at her place at 8. I was about 15 minutes late, not too terrible -- and she turned out to be not ready at all; we left at 9. I keep wanting to write about the student movement here, but I keep having better things to do.

Or writing about the climbing and trips and so on I'm doing.

I think one thing to fix that might help is to stop reading the news except for the morning paper.
