 Mississippi legislators recently proposed a bill that would ban fat people from eating in restaurants! Fortunately, it was withdrawn.

Massachusetts takes a different path.

Our proposed bill, MA H.1844, will add height and weight to the existing anti-discrimination law!

hey just browsing through livejournal and thought you seemed pretty cool/interesting (so hopefully you dont mind that I add you).

I totally didnt hear this and I live in Rhode Island, but I find this completely hilarious. Massachusetts is going crazy passing a lot of weird laws. Outlawing online poker, banning fat people from eating in restaurants, whats next?
