I'm sorry your birthday wasn't as good as it could have been, but at least your bf did something nice.

My birthday sucked for years, so I know how it goes. I had to celebrate Halloween for my kids, and ignore my birthday. At least they're grown now:)

Hey, Paul and I say "I love you" and mean it a lot. We also celebrate Valentine's Day, but in a low key way. Especially this year, because we have somewhere to go to REALLY celebrate in a few weeks:)

Here's an incredibly late happy birthday, by the way.. and don't feel like you're the only one in that kind of situation. It takes weapons and violence to get any of my mates to have get togethers or parties or the like.. especially since 80% of them live the other side of town, so it's endless "but if I drive I can't drink!" whining (uh, hello, that works both ways, champ).

i have the same problem with them living on the other side of town also. I always drive there and drink and drive home. I cant get as drunk as they do cuz i live further but the point is hanging out with your friends. I dont get it.
