Wedding Day!!
the day could not have been any better.
the morning of the cermoney was very very busy.
we were running behind on everything including pictures. At least our photographer was awesome and was very understanding =)
It rained that week and the day of the wedding. So the cermeoney had to be inside instead. They did a good job of making it look nice. Thankfully the other room was avaiable and we got married in another room not the reception room.
I waited in the little room till it was time for me to come out. My dad cracks me up. He goes I forgot to put my black socks on LOL I am like it is okay dad no one will see them.
Well John was waiting for me to come up there so we can get married. My dad had other plans and did not tell me. As we were walking down the asile he had us stop and turn to the left so people could get pictures, we took another two steps and people to the right took pictures. I am sure it felt like forever to John for me to get up there. After we did that I thought we were done, well just before we got up there he goes lets turn around again. We turned again and I saw all these cameras go up taking pictures. I thought it was a good idea. If i had my way I probably would have ran up the asile. I have waited 8 years and 10 months to marry this man!!!
The cermoney went fine until the unity candle part came. I remembered earlier in the day that we needed a lighter. I was going to call John and tell them that because they went and decorated the place (John, Ryan and my Dad) all did this. Well I figured if I called they would be we know. So I didnt say anything. Well we go to light the candles and we had nothing to light them with. His uncle saved the day and threw us a lighter. Everyone laughed which is good =)
We orginially were not going to do a recieving line but things changed and we did it. Which is awesome because I feel like I didnt get a chance to talk to everyone at the wedding.
We did our pictures. It actually stopped raining for us to take some pictures outside.
The reception was awesome. I had a blast. We cut the cake first because we were serving it as dessert. He smashed it in my face which i knew he was going to do. At least I did not get it in my nose, hair and ears like one of our friends did at their wedding.
After that was dancing and drinking. We had a blast.
My husband got a surprise. His birthday is April 22 and We got married May 3. So we announced that this was his birthday/wedding present from his father-in-law. I knew about this a long time ago. My dad brings in this big present. We had John close his eyes. John opened his present and got a hunting rifle. So now he has to go hunting with my dad. It was very interesting to see the reaction from alot of people. He was so happy to get that rifle. Of course all the guys went and checked it out.
The ones that stayed out by the reception we got a hotel room (i provided a shuttle for them) and we went back to the room. One of the them got a suite so we all went back to their room to drink and party some more. We left around 2 am and they were still partying.
We had a blast and I dont think I would have changed anything. Nothing major happened at the wedding. The only downside was I was sick for 1 1/2 weeks and was still sick at the wedding but on the day I did not care. I love the pictures I have recieved so far and can not wait for the photographer pictures to come in. I love my family and friends and I am so happy that they were there to share that day with us
