It's been hot here in St. John's as well.

Global warming as well as a geologic trend towards an interstadial period? The earth is actully currently in an ice age (or else there would be no glaciers at all) but we're in a warmer interstadial period that is in the process of developing... so it's not all unnatural.

No doubt we're destroying the plant as well though.

Hot in St. John's near the end of November! Who ever would have thought that was possible, eh? ;) I just watched "An Inconvienient Truth" not that long ago, so I'm totally thinking how we're speeding everything up! Yesterday it was actually warm here (like 12 degrees) but it turned from bright & sunny & warm to a crazy hail storm in under an hour. It was so wild! :)
