Spots and stripes

So, I’m doing laundry late on a Sunday night, and I never realized before how many couples come in to do laundry before. It definitely is a popular date spot. I feel like a poka dot in the midst of a striped world, being one of the only single people here.

I have to admit, I do laundry with Jeff. We went today in fact. Its kind of a weird "date place" because if you want to talk, everyone and their mother in the laundromat hears your conversations. No one is happy at the laundromat either. I always feel the hostility when I'm there as a couple.

Yeah, i do feel hostility towards couples who are there. Weird.
