...I always gave you the best of me, and today you fly away from my life, giving me a wound that I don't deserve.
...I always gave you the best of me. Maybe it wasn't enough, and even though you'll never accept it, you know that it was always like that.

In the three plus months since my 18th birthday, hardly anything has stayed the same.

I can't believe that you had such bad luck with your cars! I have to give you credit for continuing to drive, though. I'm already not the biggest fan of driving, so if something like that happened to me, I doubt I'd ever want to drive again, lol.
I really, really hope that everything goes well with your mother and her surgery. I will definitely keep her in my thoughts and prayers. Just try to stay strong and be there for her.
Also, as usual, I adore all of the lyrics that you posted. They're always so moving!

Oh, I really hope this year turns out better! Thanks for the good wishes=)
I KNOW! My grandma says I'm a car killer. The "check engine" light for the Blazer has already come on, so I'm just waiting for it to break down... Hope it doesn't!
My mom had her surgery already... Turns out that everything did not go quite as planned. Instead of taking out the pin, they inserted another one, along with wire. Supposedly, she'll be able to walk better now. Before, her metatarsals (bone leading to her toes) were too long and didn't allow her to move along very well. It's strange that her bones continued to grow, but things may get better for her now. Thank you so much for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. I'd like to believe that it gave her luck because she's not in as much pain as she was last time. =)
Oh! The lyrics! I discovered a new and awesome singer. I have only two or three songs from him, but if you want me to share, then I will! His name is Ricardo Montaner, and he's AMAZING, as well!
Here's a one of his songs. It's called ( ... )

Oh, thank you so much for praying for her. While the surgery was almost as bad as could be expected (instead of removing her pin, they ended up inserted another one, along with some wire. She's back to square one and can't walk at all), she's surprisingly not in very much pain. I like to think that it's a result of all the prayers.
It's really hard to watch her like this, but I'm taking it as an opportunity to pay her back for all that she's done for us. She'll be spoiled rotten.

Things really have picked up since my relationship ended. I wrote some Spanish in italics under that portion of my entry. If you translate it...you'll know exactly how I truly feel about our separation. =)
Wow, eighth grade was so long ago! Just thinking about it makes me feel old. 4 years.
My mom's not in a lot of pain, even though the surgery went pretty badly. She'll get better. I'm hoping really hard that she will.
Oh, thank youu! I was SO happy that I got Senior Elite. With how competitive our class is, I didn't think I could get it. My parents even went as far to tell me that I didn't. What a shock=D
Hope you got my happy birthday wish to you on MySpace! =)

and Senior Elite! :DD
and your car...*sighs* My car is hanging on by threads, too. It runs out of gas without the gas light even going on or the needle being anywhere near the Empty sign, the odometer thing wavers between 30-40 if you are going 35, everything keeps falling off... I dunno. Mine goes 0-60 in 70 minutes. It'll all be ok.
If you need anything, lemme know.

Is your mom okay? My mom was fine yesterday, but all of a sudden she's worse than ever. I don't know why, either. She doesn't like to take a lot of pain medication, either. With her knowledge of medicine, she knows exactly which prescriptions hurt the liver, stomach lining, etc. She doesn't want to hurt anywhere else, she says.
Oh, my gosh! Your car can't even tell you when it's low on gas? I'd be terrified to drive it! You're pretty brave! As for me, I'm sadly starting to get used to cars crapping out on me. However, I hope this new car will be better. It'll be awfully weird to see me driving a really tall SUV, though, huh? =)
Thanks for being there for me. It means a lot.
