Hey, everyone!

Here I was expecting my next post to be really happy. Unfortunately, something really bad happened recently, and I've been stuck trying to keep myself together. I suppose I'll get right to the point.

Joey, my dear boyfriend of the past 14 months, had a heart attack on Thursday.

Thank you very much for the good wishes! I got to see him yesterday, and while he needs a lot of time to recover, I'm happy that he's somewhat in the clear. =)

Yes! Gosh, I'm tired of people being all anti-public healthcare. They don't realize how other people suffer without insurance. It's awful.

I'll tell him! He loves hearing from people, even if they're from the internet. Thanks for your well wishes. =)

OMG, I can't believe that happened! I'm so sorry, but I'm glad he's doing better. Hopefully they'll be able to find out what caused the heart attack. *hugs you*

And yeah, insurance stuff sucks. I've taken a couple medical classes, and all my teachers have told me that it's very corrupt how they do business as a whole.

But yay pictures! The cake looks so delicious and amazing. Love it! <3 And awwww, Joey is so cute. The long hair suits him. :D You two are so adorable.

I couldn't believe it either! So shocking. They couldn't find out the source, I'm afraid. =( He's not old enough to have built up enough plaque to block an artery, he has a good diet, is barely average weight... The only conclusion they could come to was that "it was a fluke." Gaaaahhh ( ... )
