I've been on vaycay with my family for the past several days, and despite some worries about having to endure days on end of the battle of being fat in my family, things have actually been going pretty well. There's the usual amount of bickering, but what's a family if not for perfecting the twin arts of the snappy retort and the mile high eyeroll

I am so glad that you are having a wonderful time enjoying delicious fresh foods, beautiful wildlife and semi-fun time with family (it can be grounding and annoying of course ;) to match the semi-automatic weapon ;) and I totally agree that someone stashed it, I mean what else would someone be trying to shoot there? When you wrote "As the summer comes to a close, I can't stop fantasizing about what the fall will look like. In my dreams, I see..." I was expecting something about the leaves changing, New York in the fall, crispness in the air, something like that. Hilarious that you went for tights and scarves. (And, duh, I should not have been surprised.)
