Day 1
The power went out in the apartment last night and is still off. Its just our apartment not the building. It sucks. My father checked the fuses etc but can't figure out the problem and we can't get a hold of the owner. So with no electricity I now have about two and a half hours of power left on my laptop.

Arrival
Well I'm here in the new apartment. Woo Hoo I found some neighbor's wireless to "borrow" so I'm still online. I'm a bit more relaxed now but know its gonna get stressful again. Right now I'm trying not to think about all the work ahead of us. I was right this place is wall to wall boxes and furniture. Hardly any place to move let alone unpack ( Read more... ) -
At the Mall
Been here for 3 hrs...never realized how heavy my laptop was but glad I brought it with me. Just finished watching Dr. Who S03E04 Daleks in Manhattan. Kinda felt a bit weird sitting in the food court watching it. A couple of kids stopped to see what I was watching. Mom is sitting doing crossword puzzles. Step one done
I'm now sitting in the central bus station's food court waiting to go the mall. The movers were just about finished loading up when mom & I left. Today is gonna be a long day and I'm not looking forward to it. Mom can't do alot of walking so we'll be sitting in the food court a good part of the day. This Is It
Moving Day has finally arrived and I think we are actually ready. Its 6am and I'm quite tired...didn't get to sleep till after 1am. Movers are supposed to be here in an hour. Gotta box up my bedding etc.
I'll probably be offline for a few days. If all works out they're supposed to hook up phone and internet on Wednesday.

Anxiety is kicking in. Got another half hour before the Sabbath is over and then its back to packing. With all the stuff that my parents have left to do, I think its gonna be a long night. Down To The Wire
Things here are quite hectic...today's the day we have to finish packing cuz tonight and tomorrow is the Sabbath. But my parents are leaving so much stuff for last minute packing after the Sabbath is over which is like 9pm. Just another thing that make me think they're nuts. If England uses kilometers instead of miles then why in Dr. Who season 2 episode 9 Satan's Pit do they say miles? If I remember correctly there was aTorchwood episode where they also said miles.

Thinking
So now I have nothing to do...except there are things for me to do. I can pack my misc. stuff, cook or pack the pantry but I really don't want to do anything right now.
