...a soccer essay--about the rules of soccer? too bad he probably won't accept an entire page of a drawing explaining what "offside" means. New teachers are sometimes scary at the start, but they're usually really nice inside. Is this one the same? ...I had one scary physics teacher, for example, who started off with "I won't take any nonsense" but later it turned out he wasn't that fierce generally. Once, he taught us oscillations with a ruler "that can read minds". We would ask him questions and one end of a ruler would vibrate if his mind said "yes" and the other end would vibrate if his mind said "no". Someone asked, "Do you have a girlfriend?" and then both ends started swinging wildly and he said something like the question was out of bounds, but he was half-amused, half-embarrassed. And another scary teacher turned out to have a wicked sense of humour after all

At long last I reply. Sorry for that. My internet had an identity crisis thinking it was a train driver and went on strike like the real ones. >.> No internet for a week.
