I also went through an "Oprah Book Club" phase...hehe I have all of the books up to...A Million Little Pieces, which I am glad I didn't buy. I read it, hated it, didn't finish it. I also didn't finish Midwives. It wasn't that it was a bad book, but it kind of drug on to me. I read about half of it. I made myself a deal that if I didn't enjoy a book by halfway through, that I would put it down. It seems like I should have finished it based on your above comment. I loved this book as well. He has another book out, The Double Bind, that I can't wait to get my hands on.
