King Lear and the Seagull

Mar 20, 2007 07:54

A newly discovered play by Will-Anton Chekspeare (or is it Shakov?)

R. thinks it should be King Lear and the Albatross.

Write your own synopsis.

(OK, I'll ruin the story...the title came to us at the end of a news report. The plays will be in rep at the Guthrie next season. Ian McKellan in King Lear.)

How I wish these plays (particularly King Lear and the Albatross) were going to be staged at Theatre de la Jeune Lune. I would stand in line to get tickets. In January.
