Yes, very sad. "They" say we're to get more snow this winter. I'm glad about that, but wish it would wait till after Thanksgiving.

This is the most impressive early October snow I can recall except for one occasion when I was in college in the 1970's, when there were several inches and it stayed around for days. It's just wrong for there to be snow on green leaves. Sheesh.

And most of the trees on our block dumped there green leaves last night. We just got back from the Art Crawl in St. Paul, and it was very pretty and autumnal along the river. I wouldn't mind if this were just a 1 day thing, but the forecast looks bleak.
