Gah -- "friends" page styles

Anyone know how to turn off LJ's new "feed" style friends pages? Do not want. I find my existing 25-entries-per-page to be much more manageable.

Top of the screen. it will say "You are using the new friends page" and then "click here to return to the old style."

Not on mine it doesn't, sadly, possibly because I am old and boring and using an S1 style... I've got a "switch to new version" button but that will change the main LJ style (which I also don't want to do). But ta for the pointer, I'll go and see if it's actually in the source code somewhere but just not being handled by the style...

It seems that for the Friends page the fix is just to go to .../friends/ instead of what they currently direct you to from the top bar, which is /feeds/ . It doesn't work so well for my friends-of-friends page, though -- that still displays in feed style no matter what -- so support request filed for that one.

Odd. I'm using an old style but it is popping up. It must be some weird LJ glitch.

http://bibliogirl.livejournal.com/friends/ (rather than http://bibliogirl.livejournal.com/feed/) will get you there. How to make it the default for your account, I do not know.

The problem is that that isn't working for /friendsfriends/ -- that seems to be stuck on the silly feed variant. *mutters*
