and I think the dirver was a total wierdo...really.. he kept babbling stuff when no one even talked to him.

poor you. a blabbing taxi driver must not be too much fun. lol. i would've said, "Could you drop us off here?" then gotten out and after he left get another taxi. lol. hopefully the other taxi driver wouldn't be like him.
