The book sounds interesting; I'm thinking of checking it out.

I like Camus a lot but can appreciate that he can be a little
heavy-handed. Did you like The Stranger? Are you a
fan of existentialism? Did that influence pro or con your reading
of the book? I have also heard it said that Sartre was the
existensialist and Camus was not. Anyways! Thanks for your
thoughts and review.

I am now reading The Plague. It's not going smooth. Some kind of artificiality of the narration restraints me. This book is however typical of existentialism.
