“I can’t believe it.” Noah whispered.
“I know baby. Who would do something like this?”
“I don’t know” Noah replied.
The room was silent for a moment with only the sound of the wind ringing throughout the room.
“Noah”
“Hm”
“I’m scared.” Luke said with such emotion in his voice.
“Don’t worry baby. We are going to get out of here, I promise.” He held Luke in his arms and the two snuggled closer to watch the fire in the fireplace burn.
“Luke?”
“Yeah?”
“What is going on between you and Lance?”
Luke sat up in the bed and looked at Noah.
“It’s just a situation that got out of hand years ago. When I was seventeen, we were talking in the living room one night. One thing lead to another and we ended up kissing on the couch. When I realized what was happening I quick ran away from him. He said he was sorry and promised to never do it again, Okay?”
“Okay?”
Noah snuggled Luke back in his arms and the two drifted off to sleep.
Lance woke up early in the next morning to start his regular morning routine.
“La La La” Lance hummed went into the kitchen. He stopped at the fridge when he noticed the milk and blood on the floor.
“Oh I forgot some sugar” Lance reminded himself. He went to the pantry and opened the door to find Jade hung on the door.
Lance let out a horrible scream the woke up everyone in the house before the killer jumped out of the pantry, stabbed Lance with a knife and push him into another closet nearby.
Luke and Noah ran into the kitchen and Luke covered his mouth in horror as he say his cousin hanging in the pantry.
“MARGO” Noah yelled. “Luke, are you okay?”
Luke shook his head and Noah cradled him in his arms.
Margo and all the other guests started to enter the kitchen to see what all the commotion was about.
“Oh NO!” Lily said shock by the scene. Holden and Margo looked around in the pantry for any sign of evidence.
Margo was worried now that murder confirms that a killer in among them.
“Alright, I want everyone in the living room. NOW!”
Everyone joined Margo in the living room like she had requested.
“Wow it so cold in here.” Maddie mentioned.
“Can someone start a fire?” Margo suggested.
Holden and Dusty walked to the fire place.
“We are out of wood.” Dusty said.
“I think there is some in the library.” Lucy commented.
Holden and Dusty walked to the library to fetch the wood.
“Over there” Holden said before he walked to grab a few logs.
Dusty looked at the fire place in the library and noticed a piece of clothing among the ashes.
“Look” Dusty showed Holden the fabric. The men looked even closer and Dusty pulled out a bone.
The men looked at each other then searched for more bones.
“I better call Margo.” Holden said after Dusty pulled out a skull from the fireplace.
Margo entered the room and is horrified that yet another murder has taken place.
“Alright who do we have missing?”
The guest looked around the room and to see who was missing.
“Has anyone seen Barbara?” Henry said.
“When was the last time you seen her?” Margo asked.
“Late last night, when she went to the bathroom.” Henry explained “Hey you don’t think she did this do you?”
“I don’t know but what I do that someone is trying to send us a message.”
“So what do we do?”
All of the guests tried to think of a solution.
“We should partner up. If everyone had a partner hey were responsible for, they would have to stay with that person at all times.” Noah suggested.
“Noah is right. I want everyone to grab a partner and never let them out of your sight. If you suspect someone is the killer then tell anther group.”
“No, that won’t work because we don’t have enough people.” Chris mentioned.
“Okay, Tom, Chris, and Noah search around the place to see if you can find a signal to call for help. Lily and Luke check on Lucinda and make sure she is okay. Dusty, look around and check everywhere to see if we can find the Barbara and Lance. Everyone else should go in the living room and keep an eye on one another.”
“WAIT!” Lucy said in panic.
“I don’t think we have to search anywhere for our killer.”
“Why not?” Margo asked
“Because I know who did this.”
The group waited patiently to reveal who could commit these horrible acts.
“Well Who, Lucy?” Margo yelled becoming inpatient.
Lucy stood nervously before everyone before she finally got the courage to say it.
“It was Casey?”
