Alison woke up from her side of the bed to find Casey lying away.
“Hey” Alison said drowsily.
“Hey, did you have a good sleep?” Casey asked looking so lost. Alison looked at Casey and his saggy eyes.
“Baby, is everything alright?” Alison asked very concerned.
Casey looked at her and quickly changed his attitude before Alison would know something was wrong.
“I’m fine. We need to get ready to go?”
“I wish we could stay longer.” Alison said snuggling Casey in her arms and beckon for a kiss.
“Yeah, me too.” Casey lied as he quickly packed his things He couldn’t wait to get as far away from this place as possible.
Luke woke up the next morning feeling rejuvenated from their long lovemaking session.
“Morning!” Luke mumbled while kissing on Noah’s neck.
“Morning!” Noah smiled and replied.
“Last night was amazing.” Luke said as he snuggled closer to Noah.
Noah simply smiled and let an out a long morning yawn.
The lovely coupled stayed on the floor not really wanting to move.
“Come on baby, we got to shower then pack.” Noah said finally trying to resist the temptation to staying right where they were.
“Do we have to?” Luke complained not letting go of Noah.
“Yes, and we better go now before the snow gets worse. Who knows we may have enough time to play with our little toy again.” Noah suggested.
After letting out a moan, Luke finally got off of the floor. The couple took a shower and packed all their belongings.
Luke and Noah took one last look around the room to make sure everything was exactly the way they found it before they headed to stairs to say goodbye to everyone.
“Luke, let me help you.” Lance raced up the stairs to grab all of the bags out of Luke’s hand.
“No, I got.” Luke kindly objected.
“No, I insist.” Lance stared into Luke’s eyes lovingly and smiled. Noah observed the scene but thought nothing of it.
“Okay.” Luke laughed.
Ameera, Jade, Maddie, Casey, Alison, Noah, and Luke all huddle together to say goodbye before they started to wish the other guest in the house well wishes.
“WAIT!” Lucinda said on her way down stairs feeling incredibly weak and tired.
“Ms. Walsh, Are you okay?” Ameera asked noticing that Lucinda looked very sick.
“I’m…..” Lucinda let out a few loud coughs. “fine I’m fine.”
“Mom, you have not been feeling well since you had dinner yesterday.” Lily said noticing the same thing Ameera did.
“It’s just a little cold. Not to worry dear. Anyway, I just wanted to tell all of you that none of you have to go. This was a simply mistake on my part and everyone had such a nice time last night. So please, why you don’t stay for the rest of the weekend.” Lucinda kindly pleaded.
Everyone looked at one another searching for an approval or objection to the idea.
“Lucinda, We really had a nice time but I think we…. ” Noah stopped talking when he heard a loud boom.
“What was that?” Luke asked.
“It sounded like a bomb.” Margo suggested.
The house started to shake very quickly. Pictures started to bang hard against the wall they were hanging from.
“Woooow” everyone scream as they begin to feel vibrations all over their body.
A faint noise from behind them begin to grow louder and louder with every passing second.
“OH MY GOD, IT’S AN ALVANCHE!” Lance said remembering a childhood experience similar to this situation.
Jade and Alison let short screams and the frighten guest begin to take cover as the snow crashed up against the house. Broken window glass and light snow swam around them.
The lights went out and the only sound that could be heard was more snow banging up against the lodge.
