“Is everyone okay?” Lucy asked in the completely darken lodge.
“Yeah” the guest started to reply one by one.
“Lance?”
“Yes, Madam”
“Go into the basement and turn on the power generator.”
“I would madam but there is one problem: I can’t see a thing.”
“Here.” Jade pulls out her large IPhone and handed it to Lance. “Use me phone.”
“That’s a good idea Jade. Everyone, pull out you phone maybe we can find some flash lights or something.” Noah commented.
The guest pulled out their cellphone and looked around the hall they were currently in to observe the damage.
Glass was all over the place and the temperature of the whole building had dropped dramatically.
“It’s so cold.” Lily said.
“Don’t..” Lucinda started to cough again. “Don’t worry. Lance will turn the backup generator for us so we can get some light back, then we can call someone for help.”
“I wonder how much snow hit us.” Maddie asked curiously.
A few seconds later, the lights came back on. Everyone looked around and realized that the damage was more than expected.
“This is just great.” Lucinda said horrified by the damage. “Now I have to call my insurance agent.”
“Hey, Lucinda” Lance yelled from the kitchen. “We have a problem.”
“Well what is it?” Lucinda said impatiently.
“The backup generator….. It’s damaged so we don’t have much power.”
“How much power does the generator have?”
“We have enough to last us 72 hours at most.”
Gasps and panic talk begin to fly around all the guests.
“Alright, Alright everyone settle down. Let just go into the Grand room and have a drink.” Margo said.
The guest moved down the hall to the grand living room. Holden and Noah grabbed some wood to start up the fireplace.
Everyone watched the fire glow and sipped their drinks to subside their panic at the situation.
“Has anyone seen Craig?” Meg asked.
Most of the guest looked at Meg with a blank expression on their face trying to figure when they last spoke the Craig.
“The last thing I remember was that we were drinking in the library. I don’t remember what happened after that because I passed out.”
Most of the guest got up to search for Craig.
“Uh, Lucy” Casey asked quietly.
“Yes?”
“Um……about….last night…..It was a mistake on my part and I’m sorry I let the drinking get too out of hand.”
“It’s okay. I understand.” Lucy said honestly.
“Good so…Um… could you keep this just between the two of us. I don’t want Alison to overact to something that was a mistake.”
“Don’t worry Casey. Your secret is safe with me.” Lucy smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Casey and Lucy join the search party. There was still no sign of Craig in the anywhere.
“Oh god, what if the he left early and got hit by the avalanche?” Meg said somewhat worried.
“I’m sure he did not. Let’s just go to our rooms, unpack if need be, then meet up with everyone for dinner?” Margo suggested.
“Dinner, at a time like this?” Luke said worried.
“Yes, the best thing to do in these situations is to stay calm and not panic. I think a nice dinner would keep everyone from complaining about being hungry then we can all put our heads together and thing of out of here. ” Margo explained.
Lance agreed to make dinner and the rest of the guests followed Margo’s advice went to their rooms.

“Hey Jade.”
“Yeah”
“When you was with Casey, did you two…?” Lucy said plopping on the bed. “You know?” Lucy made a gesture with her eyes not wanting to offend Ameera.
“I know what is talking about?” Ameera said with a ascent. “You do you say it. Did you…bang Casey?”
“Yes.” Jade had to think back to remember their one night affair together. “Yes, we did.”
“How was it?” Ameera asked curiously.
“Well…He’s certainly one of those men who know how to treat a lady when it comes to that.”
“You’re telling me.” Lucy say remember what happened in the hot tube.
Jade and Ameera looked at the expression on her then looked at each other.
“Lucy, what are you talking about?”
“Well, when everyone left the hot tube last night. Casey and I continued to drink one thing lead to another then bam, happy ending for me.”
“You’re sick. Don’t you know he’s engaged?” Jade laughed sarcastically at the women.
“Yes, that’s his problem not mine and your one to talk.” Lucy said jokingly. She always liked Jade because she reminded her of herself which was a definite plus in Lucy’s book.
“Whatever, So how about you Ameera do you have a boyfriend?”
“More like a husband.”
“Really?”
“Yeah see” Ameera showed Jade the picture of her husband.
“Wow, he is hot.” Lucy said taking the picture from Jade. “And very tall. You know what they say about tall men.”
“Stay away from you.” Jade said sarcastically.
“Hi Hi very funny. Anyway dinner will be ready soon. It was so nice chatting with you girls.”

Back in Jade and Ameera’s room, Jade and Ameera finished chatting while they unpacked.
“Listen, I’m going to the go down stairs so that you can take your shower.” Jade grabbed her purse and phone before she left the room.
Ameera made a hot bubble bath and turned on some music on her old school radio she loved so much.
She took off her clothes and lay in the warm water, resting her head against the back of the tube.
While the loud music relaxed her deeply, Ameera failed to hear the sound of someone coming into the room from the bathroom storage closet.
It wasn’t until she heard footsteps approaching the tube when she opened her eyes and realized that she was not alone.
Ameera was about to let out a loud scream when the unfamiliar acquaintance cover up her mouth.
“SHHHHH” The stranger whispered. The stranger taped her mouth and hands.
Ameera watched with tears in her eyes as the stranger grabbed her midsize radio.
“NOAH SHOULD HAVE NEVER BROUGHT YOU TO OAKDALE!” Was all the stranger said before dropping the radio into hear tube.
Ameera quickly tried to get out of the tube but it was too late was the shock waves ran about in the water.
The killer watched in awe as Ameera went from screams and shakes to lying completely still in the water like a dead fish.
“Goodnight Ameera” The killer said before walking back into bathroom’s closet from which the killer came.
