I truly believe I do more 'homework' now then when I was a kid. Last night Em needed help going over lines, she is trying out for musical theatre today and they give her her peice the day prior to auditions. So I really think I should be trying out because I have it memorized too! Then she has to pick a song to sing, and she is all stuffed up with

Red Rock Canyon Resort, LV - check it out. I am going to stay there next, a new place and real swanky! A couple of months ago we went to Vegas for a few days and stayed at the Renaissance. No casino in the place so it was nice and quiet. Flying from Detroit is so much more convenient! Most spots to Cuba are filled for March break now - checked that out too for March break,but having just returned from there decided to go to Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Lauderdale instead.

I looked at their web site for red rock, it looks beautiful but it doesn't really say where it is in proximity to 'the strip'. I want to be able to wander the strip. I will check other avenues of searching...or call them! Flights are so cheap to the states right now with many people scrambling for passports I guess...that would be handy for you and cheaper to catch a plane across the border, that would be an extra 9 hour drive each way, so I'm best to fly from Toronto (despite them having the highest airport tax anywhere).

Yeah, Andy's going after march break to avoid the huge travel crowds. Is Lauderdale where your going for march break? SLooks like a nice place, I like florida, lots to do there or just chill on the beach kind of place.
