Does anyone else realise we are guarenteed ID cards now
no-one will resist now after these bombings no politician will resist

The Spanish ID card system didn't stop the Madrid bombings.
I think that ID cards will be used to disguise the fact the government is largly impotent against these sorts of threats.

I have yet to see anything to convince me that even a well-implemented ID card system would be effective at preventing events like this.
As Matte has pointed out, several recent attacks have been carried out in countries with ID systems.

I'm not going to say anything has been orchestrated, but.. this is really wierd and is going to require some some good rational thought.
