the thing about air and fire is thisdemirep77November 15 2003, 16:43:01 UTC
fire swallows up air. never get locked in an air-tight room with a burning lantern. the fire will hog all of the air for itself and you will die.
and air more often fuels air than it kills it. i'm sure the only time that fire needs to fear air is when the fire is of the captive variety. the flame from a candle or lantern has nowhere else to go but it's wick. if fire has got room to maneuver it's safe when wind gets to blowing.
what am i on about?
anyway. that was good (read it to poetry hating nick). is it yours? and if it is how old is it?
