*This morning Brian called my doctor's office since it has been a week since they cancelled my surgery date.  He found out that my new surgery date has been set - for November 14th.  Tentative new surgery date.  After having the last date cancelled I will call the new one "tentative".

It would be an understatement to say that I am nervous.  This is my "last weekend" pre-surgery and I am trying to do too much all at once.  I have plans to see friends in North Little Rock tomorrow morning, and then friends locally tomorrow evening.  I have plans to see friends, locally, Wednesday for dinner.  I ( Read more... )

This morning I found out the following:

*The day before, the 26th, I go to the main hospital at 12:30p.m. for my pre-test.  During the pre-test they will perform blood work and check my heart and lungs to see if I can basically survive the surgery.  *crosses fingers this goes well*

*Will I have an aneurysm before my surgery date next month?  This is a valid concern that my husband and I have considering my tumor is located, and perhaps already attached to, the carotid artery.
