Valentines Day is a sham holiday for the consumer. Another vain holiday for the materialistic woman. Yes, woman. Valentines Day isn't about Men. You're just being grumpy because you have no one to spend money on. Go buy your mom or sister some roses, then surprise them at their house. That'll make your day better.

See, I knew this journal would spark some attention.

I actually planning on buying my sister the "Saw II" DVD because she wasn't old enough to buy it. I'm not exactly sure if this is a good idea on my part, but still, it's a good movie.

I'll leave the roses up to my dad.

I don't know... I guess I'm tired of it all. Roses... chocolates... cards... it's all vanity and everyone supports it. It's the National "Lets Make Everyone Feel Better About Themselves" Day.

I don't buy a woman chocolates, I'm an asshole... but if I do buy her chocolates, I'm making her fat. The necklace can't have too many diamonds because that would be snobby... but not enough diamonds and I'm a cheap-sake.

I guess I've lost touch with being romantic.

It's funny because it makes me think back to "A Knight's Tale" when the two of them are arguing about flowers. That it's "better to be a silly girl with a flower than a boy with a horse and a stick..."

I'm a romantic, what can I say... but it's hard when you have no one to be romantic with. My love is there... I just have no vehicle for it. I'm quite fond of "Chick Flicks", you know that. But still... it's been a while since I've been alone on Valentines Day... so I'm not taking it well.

I called Aaron and told him I loved him. He said I love you back. That was our Valentine's day.

Given, it's terrible when you can't spend Valentines Day with the one you love and care about, especially if your engadged.

But regardless, atleast your not alone. There is someone in this world that cares about you with all there heart.

... It's just hard for me to understand that. It's been 8 years since I've been alone on Valentines Day... and I'm not taking the experience well.
